Day 1 – 23rd June, 2023 – Theog

Registration & Briefing Day
The day has finally arrived when we start one of our most
adventurous Expedition. First day will be the orientation and
registration day for all the participants.
Discover pristine mountains and clear air as you leave the
capital city of Devbhumi (Himachal Pradesh) behind and wind
your way past Kufri & Fagu, to discover Theog. Majestic snow
peaks that nudge their clear views in from every nook and
cranny of this statuesque resort. Overnight stay at Theog.

Day 2 – 24th June, 2023 – Theog To Kalpa

Theog-Narkanda-Rampur-Kalpa-Reckong Peo/Kalpa

Enjoy an early morning orchard walk followed by breakfast in
Theog. Flag off to kick start our drive to the lush green
Kinnaur Valley. We will pass through popular towns of Sarahan
and Rampur-Bushahr before entering the spectacular Kinnaur
Valley. If the day is clear, we might catch a glimpse the famous
Kinner Kailash Peak – said to be the summer adobe of Lord
Shiva. At Kalpa, you will warm up with a piping cup of tea
before checking into your hotel room. Overnight in Kalpa.

Day 3 – 25th June, 2023 – 

Kalpa-Pooh-Naku-Sumdo-Gue-Tabo

After an early breakfast, we will leave for Tabo and enjoy the
vistas en-route the Hindustan Tibet Highway. You will also
witness the Khab – The confluence of the Spiti and the Satluj
River. You can also get a clear view of the Reo Purygal Peak
from the Khab Bridge. After crossing Nako we will witness the
dreaded Malling Nallah. You will enter the Spiti Valley right
after you cross Sumdo. Take a detour from here to visit the
500 Year Old Mummy in the Gue Village. We will head to Tabo
for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4 – 26th June, 2023 – Tabo-Dhankar-Kaza

After breakfast we will visit the famous 996 AD Tabo monastery followed by the Tabo Caves Part of the 1000-year old monastery complex, the spectacular Tabo caves are clearly visible on the hillside. These artificially built caves once served as dwellings for monks who used these to escape the harsh Himalayan winters & meditation. Post village walk and monastery experience we will head to Kaza via Dhankar Monastery/Gompa. It is situated at an elevation of 3,894 metres (12,774 feet) above Dhankar Village. The complex is built on a 1000-foot (300-metre) high spur overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers – one of the world’s most spectacular settings for a gompa. Dhankar was the traditional capital of the Spiti Valley Kingdom during the 17th century. From here, Continue your drive to Kaza. On arrival, check-in and overnight at hotel.

DAY 5 -27th June, 2023 – Kee Monastery,Langza, Komic and Hikkim

EnRoute we will explore the Majestic and famous ki Monastery. The villages around Kaza are believed to be the highest in the world, Langza is famous for giant Buddha statue sitting in mountains and protecting the valley. This place offers great views with snow covered peaks. Today is a day of many highs, quite literally. We will drive to Komic, the highest in habited village in the world and then continue driving to Hikkim, where you can visit the highest postoffice in the world! The drives to these villages are stunning to say the least. We will also visit the Kye Monastery, the symbol and the most important sight of Spiti Valley. Overnight Stay in Kaza.

DAY 6 – 28th June, 2023 – Kaza to Chandratal Lake to Manali

Kaza-Kibber-Chicham Bridge-Kunzum-Chandratal-Batal-
Chatru-Gramphoo-Atal Tunnel-Manali

After an early Breakfast on our sixth day of our spiti valley expedition,
we will drive from Kaza to Manali via Chandartal Lake. The most adventurous drive of the expedition. We will cross the famous Chicham
Bridge situated at a height of 13595 Ft above mean sea level, the bridge is the highest in Asia. We will drive through Kunzum pass at an altitude of 14931 Ft to Chadratal Lake which is often referred to as one of the most beautiful lakes located at an altitude of about 4300m the mighty Himalayas. The colour of the water of this holy lake keeps changing
from reddish to orange to blue to emerald green. From there, we continue driving on the Kaza – Manali highway to reach Manali via Atal Tunnel. The closing ceremony of our expedition with live music & gala dinner at Manali.

DAY 7 – 29th June, 2023 – Manali

On the final day of our Spiti Valley Expedition, we wake up to
some hot Tea/Coffee, a sumptuous breakfast and some
brilliant views of the Himalayas. After breakfast, we start our
drive to Destination/Home.
